Below you will find some important property reminders.  We ask that you forward this to your tenants so they are aware of this important information as fines are assessed to owners, not your tenant.

Property Reminders
 
Grilling - Propane gas grills and charcoal grills are not allowed on balconies. However, there is a gas grill in the back-lawn picnic area for residents to use.
 
Trash Removal: The Hill at Furnace Brook has a city dumpster located at the rear of the building parking lot. Trash is removed from the site on Tuesday and Friday (or Wednesday and Saturday if holiday during the week).
 
Any vehicles in the three yellow marked spaces to the right of the dumpster must be moved on Tuesday and Friday (or Wednesday and Saturday if holiday during the week) from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or are subject to being towed at vehicle owners' expense. All rubbish shall be secured and placed inside the dumpster container. Do not leave food or garbage outside dumpster container as this attracts rodents. Cat litter is to be doubled bagged.
 
Recycling: Plastic bags are NOT allowed in the four recycle bins. If you tote your recyclables to the bin in a plastic bag, you must empty the contents in the bin. The plastic bag is not allowed in the green barrels.
 
Noise: Sounds can carry through the building via the exhaust vents, and often are heard in apartments remote from yours. This can be minimized by locating your television, stereos and radios as far away from the windows as possible. Speakers may not be placed in the windows. As a courtesy to others, please keep the volume of your television, stereos and radios at a reasonably low level and confined to the interior of your unit to avoid disturbing your neighbors, particularly after 10:00 PM. PLEASE ALSO KEEP THESE SAME RULES IN MIND FOR YOUR BALCONIES, as noises carry very easily especially at night.
 
Laundry Facilities: There are laundry facilities located in the basement of the building. Washer and/or Dryer of any size are not allowed in the units. Fines will be assessed if washer or dryer found in units and continue fining until removed.
 
Pool: The pool and fitness center are closed until further notice from City of Quincy.
